What a Safe Reopening Means to Us: A Message from Our DMV Team

As restrictions begin to ease in Washington, DC and Virginia, the Composition ID team has been preparing to safely reopen with measured precautions in place that put our clients first. Below is a message from our team about our safety promise and what you can expect when coming in for an appointment.

Dear friends,

Our missions from the beginning has been to help people improve their health and wellbeing through cutting-edge body composition testing, performance analysis, and personalized nutrition coaching, all delivered by a team of dedicated professionals. From our launch in 2014, we have been a proud part of the DMV community, creating long-lasting relationships with clients and other small businesses. While the COVID-19 closures have restricted our capacity to serve our clients, with Washington, DC and Virginia easing restrictions starting Friday, Friday, May 29, we are ready and prepared to provide a safe opening that puts our clients first.

Our Safety Promise

Throughout our reopening, your health and wellbeing will be our first priority. We have enhanced our safety protocols to further protect you and our team members. From wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) to stringently disinfecting the office and equipment, our focus will be on offering the safest possible environment.

Here’s what you can expect in the office when you book a service with our team:

The nature of our business is one of natural social distancing. We only accept online appointments for one client at a time, which means your appointment will be private in our office and your only interaction will be with one staff member who is using appropriate PPE. Additionally, our suite and office doors will remain open to provide fresh air and eliminate unnecessary surface contact.

DEXA Scan

We are laying medical-grade tissue paper down on DEXA scan beds and replacing coverings after each use, as well as cleaning the device thoroughly between clients.

Resting Metabolic Rate Test

Our RMR testing devices use disposable hoses and nose plugs that are discarded after each use. The device itself has a one-way air valve that makes it impossible to draw a breath that has gone through the device – the valve will close and prevent this from happening. Only fresh air is drawn in, which protects any threat of cross-contamination.

Nutrition Coaching

Our coaches are equipped with masks and gloves during appointments and consultations. We also offer virtual nutrition coaching through NutritionID.

Blood Testing

Blood testing services are outsourced and take place in certified medical facilities. We do not do any blood drawing or testing at our offices.

Being the DMV’s #1 nutrition and body composition business means more than having the most locations or performing more services than anyone else. It means making the right decisions for you and our team of talented professionals. We want you to feel 100% confident when you step into our clinics.

We sincerely thank you for your trust in Composition ID. On behalf of the entire organization, we look forward to seeing and serving you soon.

The Composition ID Team
